BEHIND THE PICTURE: 11 December, 2005

On a trip to Ayutthaya in Thailand one weekend, I visited an ancient temple. A street trader was selling these little handmade wool-wrapped dolls in all different colours, and this photograph I took is still one of my favourite shots of all time.
The sun was scorching, the sky was blue, and I found the biggest disco-ball I'd ever seen..........
